Basic Information of Chettinad Vidyashram School, RA Puram:-
Chettinad Vidyashram is one of the best learning centers in Chennai. The school was founded in 1986. The school believes in the holistic development of the child and strives to do so by promoting a careful and creative environment. Chettinad Vidyashram is a private and co-ed school, founded in 1986 by dr. Meena Muthiah. It occupies its place among the largest schools in Chennai, with around 800 faculty members and around 10,000 students. The school Enrolls children from kindergarten to high school and it is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The language of instruction is English.

The school offers excellent facilities, including a well-stocked library of around 10,000 books, an Auditorium for up to 1,200 people and a fully air-conditioned spa for students, English
and math labs, cafeteria, etc.
The infrastructure of Chettinad Vidyashram:-
The school hosts separate physics, chemistry, biology, biotechnology, mathematics, and computer labs, two language laboratories for primary and secondary education, equipped with state-of-the-art audio equipment for improving children’s hearing and expressive abilities. The Auditorium Chettinad Vidyashram is one of the largest auditoriums in the city and can accommodate 1,200 people. The school has a spacious and well-stocked library with a collection of about 10,000 books, including reference works, newspapers, novels and fiction, magazines, and all the newspapers. The library can hold 100 students
each. The school canteen serves a healthy and nutritious breakfast. Lunch and snacks for students and the well-ventilated dining room can accommodate 250 students.
The school, in collaboration with Apollo Hospitals, conducts an annual health check for its students. A medical inspection report is sent to parents and post-illness care is reported to the school.
Academics of Chettinad Vidyashram for 2022:-
At the elementary level, learning includes sensory stimulation, problem-solving games, storytelling, and game-based learning. Activities that involve the body and mind. Teachers choose activities to arouse curiosity and build self-confidence, in preschool through art, scientific research, games, and more. The emphasis is on social and emotional skills, self-awareness, and peer communication. Chettinad Vishyashram Learning Labs helps students understand key mathematical concepts, develop scientific knowledge and develop reading and writing skills.
Academics are encouraged to formally and briefly evaluate childish and innovative ideas in all areas and at all levels to create a strong bond between faculty and students. The school organizes seminars, symposia, discussions, publications, theatrical performances, lectures, and other activities designed to increase students’ attention and improve classroom learning to enable students to achieve intellectual, psychological and social growth in general.

Chettinad Vidyashram Admission Process 2022 –
The admission form is available at the school office and can be picked up from Monday to Saturday and 15 hours after notification in local newspapers. The completed form must be sent with the following documents.
Certified copy of the birth certificate.
Copy of the last progress report from the previous school.
Certified copy of the community certificate if it belongs to one of the four communities (BC MBC SC).
The originals of the above documents must be presented at the time of the revision.
