The National University of Legal Sciences of West Bengal (NUJS) was established under the 1999 WBNUJS Act (West Bengal Law IX of 1999). The President of the Supreme Court of India is the Chancellor of the University and the President of the General Counsel. NUJS has a well-developed library of books and periodicals covering various disciplines, including law,
social sciences, and the humanities. The University also has a legal assistance clinic, which provides legal assistance to people who otherwise cannot access the legal system in various ways and provides clinical training to students. WBNUJS received the prestigious SILF-MILAT Institutional Excellence Award for 2015. The NUJS team won the ELSA Moot 2015 competition, defeating NLSIU Bangalore in the final, which was held in Geneva.
The National University of Legal Sciences of West Bengal (WBNUJS) was founded in July 1999. This university is recognized by the UCC (University Grants Commission) in 2004 and by the Council of Indian Bar Associations in 2005. The courses offered by the universities are BA / BSc-LLB (Hons), LLM, MPhil, and Ph.D. & LLD.
Seats for BA / BSc-LLB and LLM in NUJS Kolkata:-
It will be occupied by CLAT scores. The university conducts a separate admission test for admission to master’s and doctorates.

WB NUJS Kolkata UG Admission 2022:-
BA / BSc – LLB (with honors)
BA / BSc-LLB admission will be based on CLAT scores. The total number of places for BA / BSc – LLB (Hons) is 144.
The eligibility criteria for the courses are indicated below:-
BA -LLB(Hons)- 10 + 2 with at least 45% of overall scores
BSc- LLB(Hons)- The 5% reduction in the overall score will be given to SC / ST candidates.
WB NUJS Kolkata PG Admission 2022 LLM:-
Candidates can apply for LLM admission through CLAT scores. The total number of places available for LLM is 44. SC / ST candidates will benefit from a 5% relaxation of the total score. Eligibility:

WB NUJS Admission MPhil & PhD Admission 2022:-
The duration of the MPhil course is 1 year and the research doctorate is 3 years. Applicants must take an admission exam organized by the university for admission to doctoral and doctoral programs. The admission test will consist of a written test followed by a personal interview. The written exam will include the following sections: Research methodology, Comparative, public-law / Governance system, Law and justice in a globalizing world. Eligibility-

Qualifying examination: UGC / SLET / SET / JRF / Entry test + Personal interview
Ph.D.:
The merit list of suitable candidates will be declared based on an admission test and a personal interview.
WBNUJS LLD Admission 2022:-
LLD is offered in 4 WBNUJS centers. Candidates pursuing LLD will have to write a thesis on any subject of law.
This doctoral program is designed to train law professors. The merit list will be announced according to the eligibility criteria.

Request procedure for LLB and LLM:
Candidates must register on the official CLAT website.
Download the form and compare it for the CLAT exam.
Suitable candidates can download the WBNJUS application form from the university’s website.

Admission will be based on the merit list.
MPhil and doctoral application process:
Candidates must take the admission test and a personal interview.
The admission of candidates who have eliminated UGC / SLET / JRF will be based on the interview.
The admission test will be 100 votes with a duration of 3 hours.
Suitable candidates will be promoted to a personal interview.
Selected candidates must pay the registration and annual fees at the time of admission.

Application form for a foreign national class NUJS:-
Foreign applicants can complete the application form on the official NUJS website, as well as the necessary documents and processing fees mentioned in the application form.
NOTE:
The deadline for completing the NUJS national foreign application form is April 30, 2022.
Applicants from foreign countries who complete the application form must provide details of the original trademarks by May 31, 2022.

The NUJS 2022 admission will be based on the marks obtained during the admission exam. For LL.M in international and comparative law and corporate and commercial law, the candidate has the opportunity to choose one of the two specializations offered. Admission to this program is based on the merit determined through a common law admission test (CLAT). Admission to the chosen specialization will, in any case, be determined

Eligibility WB NUJS Kolkata:-
Eligibility for B.A. & B.Sc., LL.B (Hons.)
A candidate for admission to B.A., LL.B (Degree in Hons) must possess:
Have passed the system of upper secondary education (10 + 2) or equivalent exam, obtaining at least 50% (45% in the case of SC / ST candidates and disabled people) in total on the first attempt.
There is no age limit according to the 2017 rules.
Those who do not pass the qualifying exam with the required marks are not admitted. Candidates whose transcript of the qualifying exam is not available at the time of formal interviews are not eligible for admission.
Eligibility for the Master in International and Comparative Law and Corporate and Commercial Law:-
The candidate must have obtained a degree in LL.B or equivalent at a recognized university and have obtained at least 55% of the points in total.
NUJS Kolkata Eligibility for the Master in Commercial Law:-
The candidate must have completed his studies in a recognized university discipline for a total of 50% or have participated in the exams of his last year/semester. If a candidate is awaiting the results, he must present his result within 3 months of starting the course. Failure to complete or fail to complete the degree course will result in the cancellation of the application for the program.

Eligibility for NUJS Kolkata research programs:-
M Phil: the candidate must have a Master’s degree from any recognized university, with a minimum of 55% or an equivalent cumulative average (CGPA). However, this condition is reduced to 50% in the case of candidates belonging to the SC and ST groups.
LL.D: the candidate must hold a doctorate in law from any recognized university. The candidate must have published as senior author at least ten articles in peer-reviewed / peer-reviewed journals with an ISSN number or books known as ISBN after completing his
doctorate. Research doctorate: the candidate must have a Master’s degree from a university recognized by UGC or an equivalent Master’s degree from a foreign university, with a minimum of 55% or an average cumulative score (CGPA). However, this condition is reduced to 50% in the case of candidates belonging to SC and ST.
